Pricing

The whole price list, in public

No "contact us for a quote" on anything standard. You should be able to work out what this costs before you talk to me.

Building the site — paid once

Launch

$1,200

One page, done properly

For a business whose whole problem is that when somebody searches for them, nothing comes up.

  • A single page, up to five sections
  • Works on a phone, because that is where almost everyone will see it
  • Contact form that emails you directly
  • Search-engine basics: title, description, sitemap, social preview card
  • One round of changes after you see it

About two weeks from the day I have your content.

Storefront

from $4,500

When the site has to take money or bookings

A real catalogue with a real checkout — not a contact form pretending to be a shop.

  • Everything in Standard
  • Product catalogue with search and filtering
  • Card payments through Stripe, or online booking, or customer accounts
  • An admin area you can actually run the business from
  • Supplier feed integration where your distributor offers one
  • Test transactions run end to end before launch — not assumed to work

Six to eight weeks. Quoted per project after we talk.

50% to start, the rest the day it goes live. Every build includes the first 12 months on a care plan, billed monthly from launch.

Getting found — paid once, sold on its own

Local Presence Reset

$750

Two to three weeks, most of it waiting on verification.

Everything a search engine, a map app and an AI assistant says about you — found, corrected, and made to agree.

  • A full audit of every listing carrying your name across the web
  • Google Business Profile claimed, corrected and filled in properly
  • Apple Business claimed — the listing behind Apple Maps and Siri
  • The data aggregators that feed the map apps, corrected at source
  • Directory listings reconciled so your name, address and phone match everywhere
  • A review request flow your staff can actually use
  • A written report of what was wrong and what it is now

Keeping it alive — paid monthly

Hosting is in here, so there is no separate hosting bill. So is the domain renewal, the security, the backups and the edits.

Keep It Running

$49/month

The site stays up, stays secure, and stays yours.

  • Hosting and SSL certificate
  • Domain renewal handled
  • Weekly backups, kept off the server
  • Uptime monitoring — I find out before your customers do
  • Email forwarding on your domain
  • One small edit a month (hours, a phone number, swap a photo)

Keep It Growing

$199/month

For a business using the site to actively bring work in.

  • Everything in Keep It Current
  • Unlimited reasonable edits
  • A new page each quarter
  • Quarterly search review with what to fix and why
  • Google Business posts written and published

Cancel any time after the first 12 months. If you leave, the site files are yours — I hand over the source and help your next person get it running. There is no hostage-taking here.

Side by side

The cards above say what each option is. This says what you give up by going cheaper, which is the question most people are actually trying to answer.

Extras

Add-on services and prices.
WhatPriceNotes
Logo and brand marks $400 Three directions, then refinement of the one you pick. Delivered as real vector files, plus every favicon and social size.
Business email on your domain $250 you@yourbusiness.com, with the authentication records that keep it out of spam folders.
Extra page after launch $250 Written, designed and live.
Written copy, per page $150 For when the words are the thing holding it all up.
Photo and video shoot, half day $600 On site, your place, proper gear. Stock photos of somebody else’s shop are worse than no photos.
Rescue an existing site $500 An audit of what you have and a written fix list. Credited against a build if you go ahead.
Rush +40% Cuts the timeline roughly in half. Only offered when I can actually do it — I will say no rather than take the money and miss.
Referral paid to you $200 For anyone you send who signs a build, when their deposit clears. No cap, and you do not have to be a client.

Questions about the money

The ones that come up before anyone signs. Everything else — how the build runs, getting found, what happens after launch — is on the FAQ page.

What if I already have a website?

Then the $500 rescue audit is the place to start. You get a written list of what is actually wrong with it, in plain English. If you decide to rebuild, that $500 comes off the build price, so the audit costs you nothing in the end.

What is the Local Presence Reset, and do I need it?

It is $750, it is separate from any website, and for a lot of businesses it is the more urgent of the two. Your name, address and phone number exist in dozens of places you never put them — map apps, directories, and the data aggregators that feed both. When those disagree, your local ranking drops everywhere at once, and you cannot see it from the inside because you only ever check the one listing you know about.

Why is this more than a website builder subscription?

Because a builder subscription is a tool, not a website. The monthly fee gets you an empty editor and the job of learning it. The comparison that matters is not the subscription price — it is that price plus the forty hours you were going to spend, plus the site never quite getting finished. If you genuinely enjoy building it yourself, a builder is the right answer and I will tell you so.

Is the monthly plan really compulsory?

For the first 12 months, yes, and it is built into the build price rather than sold separately. A website is not a thing you finish, it is a thing that rots — hours change at Thanksgiving, a number gets ported, a certificate expires on a Sunday. Six months of that and the site is doing active damage. After 12 months, cancel any time.

Do you pay for referrals?

$200 for anyone you send who signs a build, paid when their deposit clears. No cap, and you do not have to be a client to collect it.

How long does it really take?

The times on the pricing page are honest, with one condition attached: they start the day I have your content, not the day you pay. The thing that delays almost every small-business website is waiting on photos and copy from the owner. That is not a criticism — it is the part only you can do, and you are busy running a business.

What counts as a "small edit"?

Anything I can do in under twenty minutes: text, a phone number, opening hours, swapping a photo, adding a staff member, updating a price. Redesigning a page or adding a new section is not an edit, it is work, and it gets quoted first. Extra pages after launch are $250.

What happens if I cancel?

After 12 months, nothing awkward: the site files are yours, I hand over the source, and I will help whoever takes it on get it running. Cancelling inside the first 12 months means the remaining months of the plan are still owed — that is the balance of the agreement, not a penalty. No part of this involves holding your site hostage.
